A lot of people in business will tell you whatever they think you want to hear. It works out well for the client about half of the time, which isn’t good enough for us—either as business owners or as consumers.
When we decided to remake our website last summer, I was pleased to have found Tim Garner of Washington state-based ImageCo.
Tim manages to strike that elusive balance between honesty and respect. He always spoke his mind, but managed an enviable level of diplomacy in doing so. I can’t say enough good things about Tim as a person or the beautiful work he’s done for our company. In short, I enjoyed working with him, because I came to trust him. And there’s really no higher praise I can heap upon a person.
We’re just wrapping up the redesign, and this post turns out to be our first bit of news. So I am pleased to welcome you to Shades Unlimited 2.0.
The new site went live last week, with little fanfare, which suits us just fine. It replaced our old site, which had been in service since 2008.
The redesign’s goals were an updated look, more content, and new functionality. I think we’ve managed a great improvement, but I hope to continue to build the site as we use it to grow our business.
Ultimately, with the new site, all we really hope for is that you, the user, enjoy our online environment and find the site an attractive, easy-to-use, and informative place to become better acquainted with our company and its offerings.
As we put on the finishing touches, please feel free to share your thoughts about it, submit a question about our products or services, or drop us a line just to say hello.
We look forward to posting new items and bits of news in this space through 2013 and beyond.
Thanks again for stopping by.
